It is the just opposite; God often gives you more than you can handle. God is absolutely sovereign. He deliberately gives you trials (Deut 8:2; Job 1:8), He allows Satan to tempt (1 Cor 10:13; again, see Job), and He intentionally permits persecution (Acts 5:41, Phil 1:29).
Why? God does this for a variety of reason: to mature believers (James 1:3, Rom 5:3-5), test your faith (Deut 8:2), and display His faithfulness (2 Cor 12:9)—to name a few.
God’s children run to their Father when they have more than they can handle. Basically, God’s children run to Him every day because God gives us more than we can handle.
